WH Atelierwas originally founded in the Architectural Design Alliance of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 2014. Since then, under the guidance of Jin Qiuye (a famous architectural critic) and Xu Qianhe (a first-line star architect), WH Atelier has made many outstanding achievements in architectural design and laid a solid theoretical foundation. In April 2017, it officially entered the market. After years of honing, it has grown into an architectural design team with international background.

WH Atelier's design works cover a wide range of fields, including architecture and landscape planning and design, building monomer design, old building renovation, interior design, product design, and many other fields. The team firmly grasps the essence of design in different projects, and creates poetic answers with clear logic and appropriate concepts.

Today,WH Atelier's works have been published on gooood, ArchDaily and other domestic and foreign architectural media, and won some important awards including Excellent Engineering Design of China Survey and Design Association and Golden Eagle Design Award. After years of accumulation of theoretical and practical experience, the core members have possessed the working experience in large-scale design institutes, well-known foreign companies, and advanced study experience in international well-known universities. The diversified and international creative background makes the team's creative ideas more open to meet the current complex market demand.

In August 2013, the work "A Yard of Old Houses" won the Excellent Award of " In those years, Meyer we studied together" in ArchiCreation

In June 2014, the work "Department Pavilion of Mountain and Forest" won the Third Prize of the 2014 National University Student Sustainable Architectural Design Competition

In June 2014, the work "Mountain and Forest Department" won the Excellent Award of the 2nd Nine Schools Joint Exhibition of Central Academy of Fina Arts

In September 2014, the work "mountain and Forest Department Hall" was selected as Excellent Work by the Teaching Achievements of Architectural Design of National Colleges and Universities

In July 2016, the graduation design won the Excellent Award of TEAM20 Taipei Cross-Strait Architecture and Planning Newcomer Award

  • Hang Wang
    Owner-Principal & Lead Designer

Graduated from the Architecture Department of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, he is a certified senior interior architect of China Building Decoration Association. He has been engaged in space design work in China Architectural Design and Research Group and well-known domestic architects. He has served as the project manager of large-scale engineering projects such as Beijing International Sculpture Park and 2019 Beijing Yanqing World Horticultural Expo with rich experience in controlling a complete set of project processes from conceptual design to construction. Since the establishment of the studio, he has presided over the creation of design works such as "Three Pavilions Garden " and "DOUBLE HAPPINESS", having been well received in the industry.

  • Jieqi Ge
    Architect & Designer

Jieqi Ge, who studied at the Department of Architecture of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture with Wang Xing, the Owner-Principal and Yang Ding, and went to the Royal College of Art to continue his master's degree in architecture. He is now a certified architect of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Part II.

    Architect & Designer

Yang Ding, who studied at the Department of Architecture of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture with Wang Xing, the Owner-Principal and Yang Jieqi Ge, and went to the Washington University in St. Louis to continue his master's degree. He is now a registered architect in Florida, the United States.
